Business Networking Meetings

Networking the dictionary definition.

Using contacts made in business for purposes beyond the reason for the initial contact.   For example, a sales representative may ask a customer for names of others who may be interested in his product. In essence it is the art of talking to people with a view to making contacts or procuring business from a trusted source.  With this in mind The Rural Meeting Place holds regular networking events in different Towns in South Shropshire, North Herefordshire and North Worcestershire.

Designed with business in mind, RMP network events allow members to meet other business people in their area, allowing them to sell their products to a wide business audience, as well as sourcing good quality products and services for their own operation.

The meetings are of a 2 hr format, with a buffet style meal , a guest speaker, or workshop on a useful topic, and a business card swap as well as time for people to chat and most importantly network.

There is no limit to numbers from the same profession (we believe competition to be not only healthy but also helpful). And more importantly there is no enforced lead generation scheme, just quality leads to and from respected associates.

Members can attend as many or as few meetings as their diaries allow.

A benefit of being a paid up Member is that you can also become a speaker at one of our meetings and showcase your business.
